HOW ENDOMETRIOSIS ACTUALLY AFFECTS FERTILITY

Hormonal suppression therapy (medications that suppress the menstrual cycle and therefore endometrial tissue activity) is sometimes used to manage endometriosis symptoms but is generally not compatible with active attempts to conceive, since it also suppresses ovulation — this is typically a treatment used either before beginning fertility treatment or during periods when you're not actively trying to conceive.
